Heavenly Treasures Christian Preschool was founded as a Ministry of Zion Hill Baptist Church to families with young children in the Buford area of Georgia. We believe the preschool years should be filled with happy, memorable, Godly experiences. We believe that a child needs a loving environment where he or she has the opportunity to grow spiritually, socially and emotionally. We also believe that if a child is taught the word of God at a very young age then those morals and values will be instilled in them for a lifetime.

Shauna Hennum is the Founder and Director of Heavenly Treasures Christian Preschool. Shauna and the Preschool partnered with Zion Hill Baptist Church in June of 2005. She was born in Seoul, Korea and raised in New Jersey. Shauna has been married for over 21 years to her High School Sweetheart Rich, a Communications Engineer. Shauna and Rich have two Daughters, Taylor and Nicole. Shauna is a graduate of Brookdale College. Since moving to Georgia in 2000, she has spent several years actively involved in the Christian organization, MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) and was a Girl Scout Troop Leader for 3 years. Shauna is also Director of the preschool ministry at her church. Shauna also works with the preschool children and their families to send care packages and lend support and prayers to our troops fighting to make our country safe. In her spare time Shauna enjoys cooking, reading, scrapbooking and collecting “I Love Lucy” memorabilia.

Tracy Chesser is a Pre-K teacher for Heavenly Treasures Christian Preschool where she has been teaching for 6 fun-filled years. She is a graduate from Asher School of Business with a Medical Business Degree and a member of Sugar Hill United Methodist Church for 18 years. She is a married mother of two sons, Christian and Chandler. Christian is 18 years old and has graduated from High School this past May and is currently enlisted in the Navy. Chandler is 9 years old and in the 4th grade. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, fishing, and going to the beach.
